Kale. Guacamole. Kale. Guacamole. Kale. Guaca… KALECAMOLE. So good. No other words necessary.

Quick guac tip: I’ve taken to grating my garlic and jalapeño in, rather than mincing it—the flavors blend much more fully, and, um, it’s WAY easier than chopping.

KALECAMOLE WITH SMOKED SALT.

Ingredients

  • 2 small avocados
  • 1 small garlic clove minced or grated (I use a microplaner)
  • ½ lime or lemon juiced
  • 2 large kale leaves destemmed and finely chopped
  • 1/8 - ¼ inch piece of jalapeño minced or grated (again, the microplaner)
  • 5-10 cilantro leaves chopped or torn
  • sea salt to taste (I happened to use smoked salt here. It’s seriously tasty.)

Instructions

  1. Mash everything together in a bowl. Eat with chips or crudités. SO GOOKalecamole FTW.
